APFFA Chili Team are NYS Champs
Competition October 15th in Kingston.
The Arlington Professional Firefighters Chili Team seized the title of New York State Chili Champions on Saturday October 15th, 2005, at the annual state competition, which was hosted by Woodstock Harley Davidson in Kingston, according to FF John Cox, who leads the APFFA Chili Team.
Competing against 28 other teams from across the state, most of the chili preparation had to be done on site from raw ingredients. The team participates in various events and competitions annually, and has been doing so for about four years. Team members include FF John Cox, Lt. Jim Snyder, Lt. Ed Madison, FF. Victor Zamaloff, FF. Vinnie Lopez, and FF. Joe Prisco.
